Rangi oversees the daily business activities for Nisus. She is responsible for managing its resources, developing and implementing an operational plan, and ensuring that procedures are carried out properly. In a nutshell, she is behind the scenes ensuring operations run smoothly.
She is especially suited for this position as she has 6 years’ experience performing at a senior level; Rangi was a Working Director at a manufacturing company, and later a Business Intelligence Consultant. This exposure involved managing projects, HR, finance, contracts, logistics, and research. While working for the manufacturing company, at one point, she managed the entire workforce for several months while the Managing Director was away. The workforce included the skilled factory staff, sales team, and the administration team. She learned how to rely on and harness the strengths of team members, and further, how developing employee relationships can create value for the business.
Rangi has a unique background in that, she has lived in multicultural environments throughout her life. She was born and raised in the Middle East, so her family would visit Sri Lanka over the kids’ school holidays. The disparity she saw between standards of living in Sri Lanka vs the Middle East and other countries they visited is what drove her to study Economics. She lived in Australia for 6 years where she read for her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Economics at Monash University. This exposed her to living and working in a first world country.
Rangi joined hands with Nisus Coaching International in February 2018. Her exposure to local industry led her to see the value of coaching for the local market, and how simple tweaks from an expert coach could catapult careers and businesses of professionals to the standards enjoyed in the international market. She made the decision to enter this industry as a greater number of Sri Lankan businesses and the local government have come to recognize the value of Human Resource Development in recent years.
She is best known for being open-minded, personable, and reliable, with key skills in Talent Management and Project Implementation.
